" I am proud to be surrounded by professionals that take helping seriously. Empathy is not just a word, but a modality. Assisting people towards a happier, more consistent and confident person is the impact of our mission. "
"I hold a strong belief that each client I work with is the expert on their own lives. I love helping my clients become aware of their own ability to work through difficult experiences. I feel joy when a client trusts me with their greatest pain and I can provide a respite, if only for a brief while. I want my clients to know how to dance in the rain, rather than feel the gloom and miss the beauty that the rain produces."
“From the concrete who knew that a flower would grow”; is one of my favorite quotes that shows that through hardships and obstacles we can always find ways to water our own growth and healing. I take this approach as the client as the expert finding your strength in places you didn’t know existed. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, and self esteem issues. I take a non judgemental approach to provide a safe environment for you to be your authentic self. It is also an honor to be able to focus on growing and excelling our future clinicians to provide the best quality care and services to our clients and their communities.
"As a licensed professional counselor, I understand the importance of creating a welcoming, safe, and non-judgmental environment for my clients. I enjoy working alongside children, adolescents, and young adults, helping identify personal strengths that serve as a foundation for building skills and resolving problems. My goal is to encourage my clients to explore and deepen their understanding on the issues most affecting their lives, developing the tools to overcome many obstacles or situations. I believe all individuals deserve to live life to its fullest potential!"
"My focus is client-centered and I believe that the client will lead us to their desired location if we just listen. While my specialty is dealing with clients that have had issues with drugs and alcohol in the past, my focus is more often on the client’s root causes and conditions that led them to using these coping mechanisms."
"Over the years, I have gained experience working with all ages. I have served at a domestic violence shelter, child advocacy center, in the school system, foster care, and in home family counseling. My passion is helping clients to gain greater awareness and acceptance of themselves, find ways to take care of themselves, learn to communicate in healthy ways, and overcome their past and current struggles."
"I believe in embracing people responsibly with respect, trust, and honesty. Often, people are discouraged from seeking help for themselves, due to varying emotional position(s) of which they find themselves. I believe people should tell their story, and with assistance processing their narrative to become the version they've forgotten was possible."
"Everything you need to make life what you want it to be is already in you. I always start with a person-centered approach, but once I know you and your unique needs, I can help you improve your life. I am DBT-informed and can help you discover why self-love and interpersonal relationships have always been struggles for you. I am experienced in LGBTQ+ issues, as well as working with children and grief. As a person who has struggled with depression and anxiety, I can provide empathy, understanding, and coping skills to help free yourself from their grasps on your life. Knowing you need help in making life work for YOU is the first step to becoming the BEST you."
Seeking help when you are in the midst of turmoil can seem overwhelming. Maybe you are just getting out of an abusive relationship, maybe you are still in one with no idea how to start getting out of it. It’s possible you might be looking to get help sorting out a trauma from your past that keeps popping up and you don’t know where to start. Sometimes life can feel like a really unorganized closet that seems too overwhelming to even begin, so you just keep closing the door.
I have over ten years of experience working in the mental health field with a variety of ages and diagnosis. I enjoy working with children and adults. Although, children will always hold a special place in my heart. I have worked with children in foster care, abusive homes, or various traumatic situations. Trauma is something that alters the way we think and react to situations, it permanently changes our brain chemistry. Through various types of treatment modalities TF-CBT, EMDR and DBT( to name a few) healing can occur and breakthroughs can happen. I have worked alongside domestic violence victims as well and have an understanding of the cycle of abuse and how this affects the individual as a whole. I am EMDR trained and come from a person-centered approach where I firmly believe the client is the expert of their own life and has it inside themselves to overcome any obstacle put in their way.
I would be honored to offer peace, understanding, safety, and a caring passion for your mental health and recovery journey. I offer ways to build self- worth, address self defeating thoughts, worries, and process them with compassion and empathy. I want people to know that I offer a nonjudgmental approach and a true passion for seeing the potential and inner strength of each and every person I encounter in my career.
As an Air Force veteran with an extensive military background, I bring a unique and diverse perspective to my practice. Finding answers to those difficult questions in life can feel frustrating and intimidating. Often we wait for a long time before getting the courage to confront them. We know we need to talk, to get help, to look for the truth about ourselves and our life but finding the time and space to do so is challenging in the busy, complex world we live in. Whether it’s worries and fears, ups and downs of life, or relationship stress, making time to address these and other concerns is a great way to get your life back on track. As a licensed social worker and with experience working with adults, adolescents, and families dealing with anxiety, depression, and relationship stress. I have a range of experience from acute psychiatric settings, volunteering in shelters, and working in agencies that help families. Additionally I enjoy working with people of faith and processing how their spiritual life may affect their day to day outlook.
"If your only tool is a hammer, you will see every problem as a nail."
-Gambian Proverb
There is an old adage that goes, “You can’t pour from an empty cup.” We often find ourselves showing up for others more than we are showing up for ourselves.. Are you someone who finds that you are giving more and more time and energy to your profession, family, and other important areas leaving you feeling depleted? Overwhelmed? Anxious? Together we can navigate your feelings, implement coping strategies that work for you, and help provide relief that can begin to fill your cup, allowing you to be the best version you can be for yourself and others.
I am direct and solution-focused and we will work together to address the stress, burnout, and anxiety that drain your cup and implement skills on how to refill. I have attended training sessions that teach Solution Focused Brief Therapy and can help you achieve the balance you need and deserve.

Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or life transitions, I am here to listen, and provide the tools you need to navigate your challenges. My time spent here I have had the pleasure of working with a diverse population of individuals. As a school based therapist, my guiding light is to help your child succeed! I've enjoyed years of working with private practices, helping families repair relationships, challenge their ideas about "the problem," to help identify ways to flourish in school.
In utilizing evidence-based practices, such as Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Structural Family Therapy, I'm helping students navigate challenges like conflict resolution, communication difficulties, and emotional well-being, with a specific emphasis on how these issues impact their overall system.

For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to become a Counselor to help children feel better and more confident about their ability to cope with their everyday stressors. I believe that we all face challenges in life that make us feel as though we are stuck and need a little help. It is my goal to help as many children or teens with concerns impacting them at school or at home by offering support and tools to help them practice and implement coping skills that would help them become successful. I also work with families to help them improve their communication skills and trust in one another. Together, we can create a safe space where you can find hope and learn effective coping skills. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other approaches tailored to your unique needs.

I am dedicated to helping kids build confidence, manage their emotions, and develop adaptive ways of thinking. Instead of focusing on a child’s limitations, I take a strengths-based approach that highlights what makes each child unique and capable. Using cognitive behavioral therapy, I work with students to help them reframe unhelpful thoughts and find healthier ways of responding to challenges. Above all, my goal is to nurture resilience, confidence, and practical skills that support each child’s well-being to help them flourish and thrive every day.
I am on a path toward becoming a licensed professional counselor, I am also human and have experienced my own struggles. Growing up in a culture where mental health was highly stigmatized and taboo to talk about, I ended up feeling alone and isolated in what I was going through. In my adolescence, I was forced to go to counseling. I remember being reluctant and wanting absolutely nothing to do with it. However, not only did I learn that counseling was helpful and that I enjoyed going, but it's also where I discovered a profession that encompasses my innate qualities and what I’m passionate about: the depths of the human experience. I never want anyone to feel alone in what they are going through. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore life's challenges. I’ve been fascinated with psychology for many years and intuitively incorporate what I’ve learned. I work to understand my clients holistically and use various techniques to address each person’s unique needs. I look forward to working together to achieve a healthier you.
